It does three things in your tenant:</p> <ol> <li><strong>Approves the licence checker</strong>, a Microsoft Entra app that counts licensed users.</li> <li><strong>Approves the MailConnect app</strong>, the Entra app the add-in uses to reach SharePoint and Outlook as the signed-in user.</li> <li><strong>Deploys the Outlook add-in</strong> by uploading its manifest in the Microsoft 365 admin center.</li> </ol> <p>The install creates or changes nothing else in your tenant.
